Excavation is the day the pool becomes real. We stake the layout from the 3D design, protect access paths and landscaping, locate utilities, and dig to engineered grades with the spoils hauled the same day. Call (941) 320-3878 with questions about how the dig will go in your yard.
Layout is painted and approved by you. Access is protected with mats. The excavator cuts to the shape and depths on the drawings, with a laser check of the floor. Spoils are loaded out or stockpiled for backfill as planned.
Excavation is phase two, right after permits.
Layout approval, then a one- to two-day dig depending on size and soil.
Over-dig is trimmed by hand and the floor is graded for steel and plumbing.
Excavation is itemized in every build. We check access and soil at the site walk, and if digging uncovers rock, muck, or a high water table, you see it and approve the cost before that work begins.
Call (941) 320-3878 to walk your yard and talk about access and the dig. See every builder service on our New Pool Construction page.
